Prohibited & Restricted Items
What can and cannot be shipped — including our policy on medicines.
To comply with the law and with carriers' terms of carriage, certain items cannot be shipped, or can only be shipped subject to permits and documentation. This list is a guide and is not exhaustive — restrictions vary by destination country and carrier. Always check with us before booking.
Generally prohibited items
- Currency, cash, negotiable instruments and precious metals/stones (unless specifically agreed and insured).
- Firearms, ammunition, weapons, explosives and fireworks.
- Flammable, corrosive, radioactive or otherwise hazardous materials.
- Illegal drugs, narcotics and psychotropic substances.
- Live animals, perishable foodstuffs (where not permitted) and human remains.
- Counterfeit goods, and any item prohibited by the origin or destination country.
- Pornographic or other unlawful material.
Restricted items (permitted only with documentation)
- Lithium batteries and electronics containing them — subject to carrier and IATA rules.
- Liquids, cosmetics and aerosols — subject to limits and packing requirements.
- Commercial goods and samples — require a commercial/proforma invoice.
- Branded/high-value goods — may require proof of purchase and insurance.
Medicines & pharmaceuticals
We do not sell, prescribe or supply medicines. We only arrange the courier of pharmaceutical items where this is permitted under applicable import/export and courier regulations, and strictly subject to:
- A valid doctor's prescription and, where required, supporting medical documentation.
- Quantities consistent with personal use, where applicable.
- The item being legal to export from India and to import into the destination country.
- Any licences or permits required by the destination country.
Controlled substances and narcotics are not accepted. We may decline any pharmaceutical shipment at our discretion or where documentation is incomplete.
